Why Edlyft?

Learning CS for the first time is overwhelming and often fast paced. Edlyft helps students stay on track in their CS course with confidence.

How does it work?

Edlyft students have access to weekly live help sessions that are specific to their course and led by a student mentor from their school. Students can watch all past sessions on their own time the portal, along with personalized notes, study resources and practice exercises. They also can submit questions to their mentor and cohort 24/7.

How much does Edlyft cost?

Edlyft is free for students. Their academic support is sponsored by our partner companies.

Do I need to go to a specific school to be accepted?

We especially encourage students from the following schools to apply: UCB, UMD, UNC, CUNY, NCAT, Howard, SJSU, Yale, Stanford and Cornell. If you don’t attend one of those schools, please still apply. We will be accepting students from all schools.

What is the time commitment?

There are 2 sessions each week that are 50 minutes. All sessions are recorded so okay if you have to miss a few. Additionally, students can sign up for extra office hours to get help on specific topics.
